Their experience and knowledge combine to form a powerful technology and insight capability that few can match. We have a couple of opportunities within their Smart Machines division! They are looking for Business Development Executives and Business Development Managers For the Business Development Executive role my client would consider candidates with strong commercial acumen who have limited sales experience but have the transferable skills to operate in this environment. Salary: Negotiable basic salary, plus bonus, plus company car Location: Home based with national travel Purpose of the Role: To generate and deliver agreed individual sales targets of contactless and telemetry units for both existing and new clients in the Smart Machines sectors. Responsibilities: * Generate sales * Adhere to KPI and Sales Targets set by the business to generate activity relating to sales * Outbound call management * Attending regular on-site customer visits to develop relationships between customers and the business * Research and lead generation * Campaign management * Create a regular sales pipeline * Pro-active generation of new business to be primarily through a pre-agreed number of face-to-face meetings * Convert calls from cold call to warm status * Generate leads from existing and new customer database * Execution of assigned lead generation (marketing campaign feeds) - assigned new contacts to be contacted within 5 working days post event * Pro-active execution of activity to turn lapsed/lost clients into opportunities * Revisit existing customer base with a view on selling value add products Requirements: * Commercial acumen * Full and effective use of CRM to manage sales and marketing activities * Ability to solution sell, field or desk based * A recognised qualification in either marketing or selling would be desirable * Exceptional customer service skills and demonstrable experience * High level of computer proficiency with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Natural networker, able to build authentic relationships quickly * Highly organised approach * Ability to multi-task and work under pressure * Empathic listener to really understand the needs of the customer * Good attention to detail * Self-motivated and driven * A full UK driving license For more information on this opportunity please contact Anthony Antoniou at Imperial Professionals
