Business Analyst Salesforce - Brussels - 500 EURO PER DAY - 3+ Month Contract.

Responsible for the realization of regional solutions, also called Templates. This means the configuration,development, and interfacing of regional Customer Engagement applications (mainly for customer care and direct marketing). The team is also responsible for application change management, configuration management and system governance. Key partners include, but are not limited to, local (country-specific) IT Demand teams Marketing, Business, external vendors/integrators, and other (regional or global) IT Teams and CoE's such as Digital, Supply Chain, Infrastructure and Security.

The Business Analyst will:


  • Act as a liaison between the CoE organization and the local businesses or local IT departments of the Banners in scope (BeCSE)

  • Understand business processes in the Customer Engagement domains with a focus on campaign management

  • Have a good knowledge of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud application and possibly Service Cloud

  • Help defining, validating and challenging business requirements together with the local and regional business and IT organizations to support the Product Owner in backlog grooming

  • Help validating and challenging incidents together with the local and regional business and IT organizations

  • Communicate with and challenge software suppliers and integrators on possible solutions to implement the business requirements or resolve incidents

  • Assist IT and business organizations throughout the complete software release cycle of supported applications

Tasks & responsibilities:


  • Support Product Owner to handle new Production requests from local businesses or local IT departments by providing analysis of business requirements

  • Support Product Owner by documenting business requirements in JIRA as User Stories

  • Support Product Owners in preparing test scripts and testing of the template

  • Support Product Owner to prepare Train The Trainer material

  • Work with other team members to handle Hypercare or support issues and possibly perform small changes in SF:

  • Doing some exports

  • Creating/updating reports

  • Investigate user access issue

  • Helping local business to identify issues

  • Helping local business to use the system

  • Analyze new tools, solutions or processes to explore new areas that could facilitate the delivery of the template or bring value to the existing template

The Business Analyst Salesforce Marketing Cloud will be part of the Center of Excellence

Customer Engagement based in Brussels, Belgium. The Center of Excellence supports the following countries: Belgium, Czech Republic, Greece, Romania and Serbia.

Travel should not be required. However, if exceptionally a trip outside Belgium is needed, the proposed candidate should be flexible to accept such a trip.

Education & training:


  • Master's degree in information technology sciences or equivalent by experience (Retail and/or Marketing experience or background preferred)

  • At least one Salesforce Certification in Marketing Cloud is mandatory. Any other Salesforce certification is a plus

  • Any certification in agile process is a plus Experience

  • Mandatory knowledge of CRM (marketing campaigns and customer care) business processes in a complex environment, with at least 3-5 years of experience

  • Prior experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is mandatory (at least 3 years)

  • Prior experience with agile implementations is a must

  • Experience in retail or FMCG industry is an asset

  • Clearly demonstrated expertise in business systems requirements definition and release management

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Effective in running meetings

Mandatory:


  • Good working knowledge of Retail Marketing business processes and solutions

  • IT experience in campaign management environments including Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Experience in defining detailed business requirements and analysing incidents (bugs)

  • Able to read, understand, challenge and update functional specification documents, release notes, and technical documentation

  • Working experience in standard IT processes (agile, change management, release management, incident management, project management)

  • Understanding of potential impacts on cross functional processes

  • Excellent command of Microsoft solutions (Office, Project, Visio)
