Sales Manager Our client, based in Oxfordshire, is looking for an experienced sales professional to take on the role of Sales Manager. As the Sales Manager of a global company in the Education sector, you will have your own sales target, relating to both new and renewing business around Schools, Colleges or Universities. Role Overview The successful Sales Manager will need to have experience within the Education sector, whether further education, higher education or at school level. You will be responsible for increasing sales leads and will be involved in every stage of the sales process, from working with the marketing team on webinars and social media campaigns, to personally representing our client at events. The Sales Manager will be a point of contact for customers within Schools, Colleges or Universities and it is essential that you have an in-depth understanding of our client's business. The role does include some travel (including overseas), and you will be required to attend conferences. The role offers an incredibly competitive salary as well as a generous bonus structure. Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 P/A + £15,000 OTE + Benefits 2 Days in Head Office + 3 Days of Remote Working Responsibilities: Work with the Commercial Director to plan sales targets and strategy. Successfully achieve the targets set for new sales and renewals. Regularly review individual and team sales performance with the Commercial Director and Commercial Sales Support. When needed, revise the sales strategy. Ensure all sales opportunities are chased and converted effectively. Ensure high quality customer support is achieved by working closely with Client Services. Effectively demonstrate our client's software to secure sales. Attend events where you will represent and lead presentations on behalf of our client, in order to increase sales. Work with the marketing department to assist in lead generation. Maintain and develop understanding of our client's marketplace. (Schools, Further Education, Higher Education) With the Commercial Director, continually improve and review procedures within your control. Complete and contribute to any project as requested by our client, within the scope of your role. Essential Experience and Knowledge: Successful history of hitting new sales targets in B2B. Comfortable using Salesforce. Business knowledge.Person Specification: Proactive approach to work, including suggesting new ideas. Results focused. Exceptional communication skills. Excellent presentation skills. Comfortable forming relationships with a variety of internal and external colleagues and clients. Happy to take the lead and work on your own initiative. Work well as part of a team.
