5G RAN Software Engineer

Paratus People have a unique opportunity for a Software Engineer (5G Radio Access Network) for a telecommunications (wireless and small cell) client based in Antwerp, Belgium. The company specialise in providing LTE Small Cell software and LTE Small Cell product solutions.
The role requires a background in software development for 3GPP standards-compliant networks. Overall, they're looking for someone with a background in software development for 3GPP standards-compliant networks and knowledge of 3GPP mobile telecoms protocols, LTE and ideally 5GNR.
You'll have experience in:
- C or C++ software design and implementation
- Real Time, event-driven software development in a Linux environment
- Involvement of full project life cycle from requirements analysis through to deployment and field issue support
It would also be an advantage if you have experience of containerised software development and if you've previously worked in a scrum and/or agile process.
It is worth noting the client is employing candidates on a permanent basis and candidates on a contract basis.
