Information Systems Application Analyst - Permanent - Dundalk, Ireland

Essential: You don't necessarily need to have leadership experience but some mentoring or training of colleagues would be good to have. Must have a strong Biotech/Pharma background. Experience in the delivery & management of GMP IS Application systems such as OSI Pi Historian, TrackWise, Maximo, Document Management Systems etc. & GMP Laboratory IT Systems such as Empower CDS, LMES, Sample Manager LIMS, Laboratory Analytical Equipment & instruments will be an advantage. Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Biotech Engineering. Develop IS strategies, plan & execute system roadmaps & support new technology deployment. Management of 3rd party suppliers/contractors/Systems integrators as required. Technical solution design & evaluation, delivery, commissioning & validation, schedule tracking, budget management for sustaining initiatives. Candiates must be eligible to work in Ireland

Information Systems Application Analyst Job Summary

Information Systems Application Lead will champion the use of data & information, play a key role identifying where, when, how & why the business uses data, & transform it into information that serves each function at the site.

Information Systems Application Analyst Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Information Systems Applciations Analyst to work with the IS Applications support team & the Laboratory IT support team, ensuring the necessary resources & skill sets are available & developed to meet current & future business needs

  • Develop IS strategies, plan & execute system roadmaps & support new technology deployment

  • Deliver & present analytics/reports for key stakeholders across the site to drive decision making - champion the use of data & information into a true data-driven organization

  • Technical solution design & evaluation, delivery, commissioning & validation, schedule tracking, budget management for sustaining initiatives

  • Evolution & continuous improvement of work processes to ensure consistency, efficiency & quality, employing LEAN practices as appropriate

  • Ensuring alignment of solutions & industry standards & regulations as they pertain to systems & system architectures

  • Travel at various times is anticipated to support AIS & Operations network alignment, knowledge share & projects.


Information Systems Applications Analyst Requirements

  • Experience in the delivery & management of GMP IS Application systems such as OSI Pi Historian, TrackWise, Maximo, Document Management Systems etc. & GMP Laboratory IT Systems such as Empower CDS, LMES, Sample Manager LIMS, Laboratory Analytical Equipment & instruments will be an advantage.

  • Excellent data manipulation skills

  • Ability to constructively challenge, defend & present technical aspects of system design
