On behalf of our client, a globally renowned company with international presence, we are looking for a motivated Swiss Legal Specialist for a contracting position in Zurich.
The Legal Department of our client responsible for the Swiss operations ensures the assessment of all legally relevant processes & risks and supports all divisions and companies of the our client's group operating organization in Switzerland. It is also responsible for the integrity and compliance function. We are looking for you to support us in this responsible area. Are you admitted to the bar in Switzerland and have professional experience in a law firm? Do you work as quickly as you do precisely and independently? If, as a team player, you have a trained eye for the essentials and can keep a cool head in any situation, this is your chance - come and join us.
. Comprehensive support of the local business divisions and our client's legal entities and branches in all national and international legal matters, especially in matters of contract and corporate law
. Enforcement and protection of company interests in negotiations with third parties as well as with authorities
. Ensuring compliance with federal and other regulations and internal corporate regulations in various areas (namely data protection, competition law, corruption prevention); monitoring legal developments
. Collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams, with experts in the Group legal department and with the legal departments of other country organizations
. Participation in risk management and other internal processes
. Completed legal studies at a Swiss university and admission to the bar in Switzerland
. Five or more years of professional experience, including at least three years in a law firm, as a generalist and in the following areas:
o M&A, governance and other corporate law matters
o Independent review and negotiation of complex contracts
o Labour law and employment related matters
. Integrity and compliance experience would be useful
. Openness and ability for close intercultural and interdisciplinary collaboration with teams worldwide
. Ability to express yourself concisely and to communicate in a manner appropriate for the recipient
. Fluent and stylistically confident in German and English.
* It's mainly for M&A/corporate with project experience.
