IT Administrative Assistant- Part Time 40%- Remote working

The purpose of this agreement is to support to the TechNet-21 Community Manager with routine administrative tasks related to the community management functions of the website, and by assisting in the delivery of the 17th annual TechNet Conference that will be held October 2021.
The contract is proposed for a duration of 12 months (from 1 January 2021 through 31 December 2021).
Established by WHO and UNICEF in 1989, TechNet-21 is a global network of immunization professionals committed to strengthening immunization services by building relationships, sharing knowledge, and coordinating activities. The network has two complementary parts: the TechNet Conference, held every one or two years since 1990, and the TechNet-21.org website, released in 1998. The goal of TechNet-21 is to improve immunization services by bringing together immunization professionals at every level, in every country, and from every sector.
TechNet will host a virtual TechNet Conference in October 2021. Considering the workload that the conference will entail, as well as the Covid-19 context prioritizing online communications, it is necessary to provide the TechNet
Community Manager, with additional support. This will enable the Community Manager to focus on supporting the conference and further developing the online functionalities of the website.
Work to be performed
Under the supervision of the Technical Officer of the Vaccine Supply Chain and Logistics Team, Essential Programme on Immunization (EPI) Unit within the Department of Immunization Vaccines and Biologicals (IVB), and with the guidance of the TechNet Community Manager, the contractor is expected to provide support for the following activities:
Output 1: Provide support to the TechNet-21 Community Manager.
Activity 1.1: Manage TechNet social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube).
Activity 1.2: Create relevant immunization-related events in the TechNet Events area.
Activity 1.3: Search for immunization-related jobs and post them in the TechNet Careers area.
Activity 1.4: Ensure data and styling consistency in the TechNet Resource Library and cold-chain equipment (CCE) area.
Activity 1.5: Identify technical issues with the website and report them to the IT Team using the Teamwork system.
Activity 1.6: Translate designated parts of the TechNet-21 website into French using agreed tools.
At least five years professional experience in online communications and content management
Experience translating online content from English to French.
Good knowledge of website content management and administration, including Joomla.
Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, in particular, Excel.
Highly organized, proactive and pragmatic with good process management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as coordinating and engaging with stakeholders.
English - Read/Write/Speak at advanced level
French - Read/Write/Speak at advanced level
Previous experience in Public Administrations or United Nations
