A Public Administration based in New York is looking for a Data Analyst/Integration Specialist to join their team!

12 Month Contract

Up to 600CHF per day on site or 550CH per remote

What you'll be doing:

- Interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports (policy briefs and reports reviewing literature, explaining analytical methods and presenting the results.) that enable tracking various development trends over time

- Developing and implementing databases, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

- Identifying, filtering, analysing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets

- Generating insights and analysis to support data platform in one or more GPN.

What you need:

- At least 2 years' experience in designing, conducting and analysing household and country level data survey to measure and assess socio-economic impacts

- High proficiency in written and spoken English

- Ability to carry out data exploration and analytics

- Ability to demonstrate integrity by modelling the business values and ethical standards

- Ability to promote the vision, mission, and strategic goals of business

- Ability to displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability

- Ability to communicate effectively in writing to a varied and broad audience in a concise and straightforward manner

- Capability of working in a high- pressure environment with sharp and frequent deadlines, managing many tasks simultaneously

- Excellent analytical and organizational skills

Nice to have:

- At least two years of demonstrated experience using at least one data analysis software such as STATA, R, GAMS and MATLAB

- Experience with macroeconomic or microeconomic analysis including policy scenario analysis using partial and general equilibrium or welfare analysis

- Previous experience in an international organization or a large global company executing similar assignment
