People & Talent (HR) Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to move your career to the next level! We are looking for an experienced HR professional to take on this pivotal role and lead our people function into the next stage of our development. Working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse and talented employee base, this is the senior people management role in the company and the successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of our people strategy across Ireland and the UK, incorporating all aspects of a People Management suite.

Founded in 1997 we have 500 staff. Our HQ is in Dublin, with UK Offices in Sheffield and Belfast.

What you get to do in this role:

Enhancing, developing and implementing the existing People Strategy

  • Provide advice and guidance to the business in the formation of new services
  • Develop the Training and Development plan to best equip the organisation for continued growth
  • Talent acquisition to meet the demands of the business
  • Maintenance of the Performance Management programme in the Pursuit of Excellence
  • Ongoing management and development of the Reward and Recognition programmes and schemes
  • Compliance & data protection in relation to employee data
  • Guiding and developing the existing P&T team (3)
  • Mentoring and coaching the broader management team in best practice people management

What skills/experience will you have:

The ability to think independently, build relationships and influence others

  • Credible and professional manner and the confidence to deliver to employees and stakeholders
  • Minimum 5 years in HR preferably in a Service Delivery organisation
  • Experience in all of the areas of accountability stated above
  • Strong knowledge of UK and Irish Employment law
  • Experience with TUPE
  • Creativity and the ability to solve problems
  • A proven ability to drive and influence change in a constantly changing environment
