Overview of contract


On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Network Support Analyst whose main focus is to enable the network operations team to stay abreast of any issues developing in the network and alerting them in case of an incident


Main responsibilities



  • Working in the team that is responsible for maintaining and developing tools for networks.

  • Maintaining the tools and working with the operations team to ensure the tools are being used efficiently and effectively

  • Ensuring that the telemetry data that is collected is accurate and timely.

  • Areas that will be monitored and technologies include

    • Fault management (SMARTS)

    • Network Performance management (SevOne/NetMRI)

    • Configuration management (HPNA/NSO)

    • Security Logging (JSA/rsyslog)

    • Detection of unauthorized Devices (ForeScout)

    • Firewall life cycle rule management (Tufin)

    • AAA/TacACS (Aruba Clearpass)

    • Automation (Scripting, automation frameworks - Python, IPSoft)

    • SPLUNK

    • Application Performance management (NetScout NG-1/Pulse)




Your skills:



  • 7-10 years of experience in general network management - Routers, Switches, Firewall etc

  • Experience in a minimum of 2 of the areas mentioned above, particularly Fault management and Network performance management.

  • Ideally knowledge of at least 1 of the following technologies - SMARTS, SevOne, HPNA, NSO, TUFIN, Clearpass, Splunk and Python

  • Experience within a large enterprise
