Application Support Engineer

I am looking to speak with an Application Support Engineer to join a high-quality Application Support team in Dublin, Ireland. This market leading cyber-security software company are growing at a rapid pace and their products are used by financial and insurance institutions across the world - providing financial crime and cyber-security solutions to ensure they can safely grow their organisations.
At the moment this role is fully remote with the view in the future to return to the office on a hybrid basis so ability to commute to Dublin 1-2 days a week is essential.
There are two roles currently available - if you are fluent in English as well as either French, German or Spanish and enthusiastic, inquisitive with a passion for problem solving then please get in touch!
Investigate, diagnose and resolve all application related issues.
Take ownership of all issues and push to a swift resolution within the SLA.
Bug fixes (Java/SQL/SAS macro) when required.
Work closely with customers to inform of progress, request information and manage expectations.
Perform root cause analysis and replicate bug issues with the end goal of resolving.
Escalate any issues to team lead as required.
Do you have?
Relevant IT/Technical degree plus 3 years' experience in a related role - software support/enterprise support environment.
Experience with SQL (troubleshooting queries/identifying bugs/writing scripts),
Unix or Linux OS experience.
Knowledge or experience working with application Servers (JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic or similar).
The ability to juggle conflicting priorities and demands, and deliver on time
Excellent analytical skills or previous experience in resolving challenging technical issues.
Excellent communication skills/Bi-lingual English with either Spanish, French or German: written and verbal fluency.
