Title: .NET Developer (Mid)
KBR is seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer to join our team located in Patuxent River, MD. The qualified applicant will become part of KBRs IT Solutions Group supporting the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in a wide range of Information Technology products and services.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or a similar field from an accredited college or university
Minimum Two (2) years of overall experience in software design, development, and testing.
Clearance Requirement: US Citizen with existing Department of Defense (DoD) clearance.
Primary Job Activities:
Provide development support to new web applications using Web API development in C# using .NET Core, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML5.
Develop and maintain code following industry best practices and in accordance with project and/or customer standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Collaborate with other team members on technical approaches, ideas, and solutions.
Required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile scrum-like development cycle.
Motivated self-starter, strong logical, creative problem-solving skills and excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Familiarity with NAVAIR Test and Evaluation Policies and Processes as defined in NAVAIR publications M-3905.1 and M3960.4.
Desired Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Experience with HTML5.
Experience with Bootstrap.
Experience with MVC.
Industry certifications are desired (CISSP, Security +, CSM, PMP, etc.)
