Assistant Legal Cashier Vacancy (GTDA)
Posted on Sep 12, 2020 by Gard & Co
Gard & Co believe in investing in talented graduates who have decided to pursue a career in the solicitor's branch of the legal profession, within the City of Plymouth.
Every two to three years Gard & Co seek to employ a graduate as an assistant legal cashier, to provide data entry and accounts support to the Senior Cashier in the firm with a view to moving into a legal assistant position after two years, and we seek to do this again in September 2020.
Gard & Co believe in training their staff to reach their full potential.
Financial support is available, for those who merit it, through post graduate examinations (ILEX/GDL/LPC) and a training contract (if appropriate), to legal professional qualification, subject to performance and suitable demonstration of quietly industrious commitment, over a 24 month period.
The successful candidate will have a good academic record, a rounded skill set and plenty of real-life experiences of the workplace.
We are only interested in self-motivated and committed applicants.
This vacancy is aimed at graduates with non-law degrees who wish to pursue a career in the law and to undertake a law conversion course to that end. Candidates must have a passion for the law and be able to demonstrate a settled intention of pursuing a career as a solicitor and the determination and capacity to undertake distance learning whilst, at the same time, maintaining and developing a full time job.
