Technical Architect - .NET - UML - SharePoint

This is a genuinely fantastic opportunity to work for one of the most prestigious EU Institutions in Europe.

We are on the lookout for a Technical Architect with a Master's degree (or equivalent) + at least 13 years of experience.

These are long term contracts with a very high chance of renewal. The longer you work there, the more valuable you become and this means that you could stay there for years.

In addition, they are not just looking for a standard Architect; they want people who can make a contribution to the team, who can bring new ideas and who can continue to learn and improve.

Essential experience:

  • Master's degree in IT or related field;
  • Minimum 13 years of professional experience in IT after studies;
  • 6 years of experience in architecture and design of information systems;
  • 6 years of experience in development of information systems;
  • 4 years of experience in development of information systems using .NET;
  • 2 years of experience with user interface technologies (eg jQuery, KendoUI);
  • 2 years of experience with UML or Case Tools;
  • Experience with relational databases and relational DBMS;
  • Experience in web technologies;
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint;
  • Excellent knowledge of web styling technologies (eg CSS, HTML 5);
  • Excellent knowledge of XML;
  • Good knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and Enterprise Architecture;
  • Good knowledge of applications design;
  • Good knowledge of business process analysis;
  • Knowledge of interoperability technology; (eg web services, message oriented Middleware, service oriented bus);
  • Experience with IIS web server configuration; (preferred)
  • Experience with SCRUM development; (preferred)
  • Knowledge of project management methodology (eg Prince, PMI); (preferred)
  • Knowledge of XBRL; (preferred)
  • Very good knowledge of the English language.

*Note* This could possibly initially start remotely, with the expectation to work onsite after the restrictions have been lifted.
