SAP HCM Payroll Business Consultant

Job Description
The SAP Payroll Consultant is responsible for producing solution design, documentation and successful delivery of Payroll (NL) with expert attention to all architectural qualities for an effectively working Human Resource (HCM) system. The SAP Payroll Consultant must have extensive experience in configuring and custom development with excellent functional and technical skills. Should be able to work with the business to understand their needs and coach them on the appropriate solutions (capability consultant), while at the same time; work with technical support team to drive them to an efficient technical solution design.

Essential Functions:
*Work with the business users/process owners to identify their requirements, design enhancements and functionality to help meet user requirements.
*Analyze current business processes and make recommendations and Identify SAP solution possibilities and discuss with business users/process owner
*Organize and facilitate problem-solving discussions with the client, internal operations team, and project managers to resolve issues requiring a focused approach to maintain project continuity and requirements.
*Responsible for understanding Functional Specifications followed by writing corresponding Detail Design Specifications and Responsible for developing high quality solutions based on completed Functional Design Documents
*Performs configuration (customizing) work as needed to support new and existing functionality
*Function as resident team expert for all configuration issues (both support and project) within their areas (modules) of expertise
*Responsible for reviewing the unit test plans and the quality assurance plans to ensure all requirements have been met
*Work with the user community to determine the best solution to help resolve customer problems and satisfy customer requirements
*Collaborate with the ABAP developers to develop and test significant new functionality and enhancements
*Perform integration testing work as necessary to ensure that new functionality or enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality
*Provide oversight to various Projects and change requests to assess overall impact
*Configure based on business requirements the SAP Payroll module
*Prepare functionality specifications and deliver to ABAP developers
*Follow all design work and integration testing protocols, change control procedures, uses company standards, procedures, and practices in performing required work.
*Develop a specific SAP Solution from Blueprinting, Configuration, Testing and Production Support
*Assist in the technical preparation of Business Process Procedures, Test Scenarios, End-user documentation, and User manuals.

Qualifications
*Required Education and Experience:
*Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
*Strong NL Payroll knowledge
*Dutch speaking mandatory
*5-7 years of experience in design and configuration of Payroll
*SAP payroll configuration for Gross payroll and Net Payroll
*Integration with SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HR, SAP FI and with Third party FI (Finance)

Preferred Education and Experience:
*Integration of Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and Employee Central (EC)
*Tax Reporter configuration
*Experience with BSI tax factory
*Third party remittance
*Payroll catalog definition including but not limited to collective bargaining agreement wage type definition and configuration
*Off cycle payroll definition and processing
*Levy management
*Garnishments definition, reporting and management
*Benefits Integration with 3rd party systems
*Payroll integration with 3rd party systems such as ADP and Kronos
*Detailed knowledge and understanding of integration with Compensation and Time Management
*Experience in creating and defining custom operations and rules
*Experience in defining user exits
*Experience with year-end activities and support packs implementation
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Good logical and analytical skills
*Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
*Experience in working with a remote and online team of consultants

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
*An ideal candidate will have minimum of 2-3 full life cycle implementations for Payroll and 5 -7 years of experience is design and configuration of Payroll module
