Payments - Banking Corporate and New Projects Manager
Paris, France, the preference is local candidates. When safeguarding measures relaxed on Covid-19 the individual will be travelling to meet customers. All customers are based in France, mainly in Paris.
End Date/Duration: 10 months
The opportunity consists in joining an agile and high performing team to drive revenue. The successful person will be in charge of developing the BtoB market in partnership with issuers and large corporates, assisting account team in primo implementation of strategic projects and exploring new market opportunities.
The role is to oversee Corporate and New Project.
The individual will also conduct market research. Meetings with customers to make sure the person has a relevant understanding of the project. Attend customer meetings to test proposition and to test initiative they have and so on.
The customer engagement will be there to develop a B2B market, assist in the implementation of strategic projects, and explore new market opportunities.

20% implementation of strategy market
20 % exploring new market opportunities.
The successful person could get involved with the launch of acquisition and this will need to be managed, not from a technical perspective, but from the project management perspective. Could get involved in the project on the payment flow, as an example - where they'll need to understand the market.
Developing the BtoB market in partnership with issuers and large corporates:
o Contributing to design BtoB strategy on the French market
o Co-designing BtoB value proposition with each issuer
o Answering BtoB RFP with issuers
o Develop business lead among large corporates
Assisting account team in primo implementation of strategic projects
o Supporting account team/product teams in primo-implementation of strategic projects through project management skills (eg. Direct Settlement, processing platform)
Exploring new market opportunities (supporting head of BD France)
o Assessing the market opportunity and designing the go-to-market strategy of new businesses (eg. ATM service strategy, Direct Settlement, New payment flows, Open banking) on the direction of Business Development VP
All About You
More than 8 years of experience in payment/banking industry
The individual will need to be native French-speaking because the person will work directly with customers who are not English speaking.
Individuals who are from banking, financials, or payments (no need to be expert in card payments) background.
Would be interesting if the person came from somewhere with treasury services or financial services from a large corporation.
