Azure DevOps Engineer - Leading Bank - Netherlands - Amsterdam

A leading financial institution is expanding their Azure Platform DevOps team, and they are looking for a DevOps network engineer with experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, someone that is strong with connecting networks, including security and Automation.

As a team member, you will be dedicated to bringing this solution to various departments of the bank, together with a strong team of mind-like, technology-loving individuals. You'd be working in a strong agile team, reporting to the Product Owner and have a Scrum lead for smooth processes.

Your role:



  • You will be enabling more than 100 DevOps teams and internal customers to use Azures services in a compliant and secure way

  • You'll do so by designing, developing, securing and supporting the implementation of these products to a wider audience of customers within the bank

  • You'll plan for disaster-recovery scenarios and service availability

Skills that would make you a good fit:

  • Strong knowledge of DevOps (preferably Azure DevOps)

  • Strong background in Networks (Virtual, Hybrid)

  • CI/CD Pipelines

  • Network security, network segmentation, Automation and Firewalls

  • Experience and knowledge about traditional (on-premises) Network Infrastructures including eg WAN, DNS and Routing

  • Good knowledge of the design and the deployment of ARM templates/Powershell/Terraform

Preferably:
  • You're Microsoft Azure Certified (associate/expert)

In the current Covid-19 climate, work will be largely remotely. For important team meetings, you'd be asked to come to the office and meet the team F2F. Therefore, we are looking for candidates in Amsterdam, Randstad or willing to relocate to this area.
