Overview

Our Client is a leader in the Site Engineering Services and Consulting field. As they continue to grow, they require an experienced Technical Sales Manager.

Role Profile

  • Take the lead in all sales and marketing relating to activities undertaken by the company and its affiliated group companies, communicating effectively to all target markets
  • Identify opportunities (Leads) and new clients and convert those opportunities (Leads) into sales (Deals)
  • Meet with customers and engineers to interpret their requirements
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining our products and services to existing and prospective customers
  • Lead sales on behalf of the company and all affiliated group companies, liaising and negotiating with clients, conducting needs analysis, providing quotations and overseeing the delivery of projects
  • Take commercial actions to help steer the strategic direction of the business to maximise growth
  • Establish new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
  • Find RFQ/RFI and tender opportunities, and help produce/submit all relevant paperwork in conjunction with other staff, including proposals, quotations and technical solutions to customer enquiries
  • Build, maintain, and administer a good client base
  • Provide pre and post-sales support from initial enquiry to final commissioning and maintenance
  • Establish, communicate and inspire the business-wide acceptance of the company culture, aims and objectives
  • Maintain the CRM 100% at all times, and provide detailed presentation and reports to management team, as and when required
  • Play an integral part in the development of all marketing strategies, including social media

Person Profile

Essential:

  • Ability to research and find new opportunities and convert them into sales
  • Ability to build long lasting and sustainable relationships with clients quickly and understand their needs
  • Ability to promote our products and services
  • Proven track record in delivering on-target sales results
  • Resilience and tenacity
  • Excellent communication skills

Desirable:

  • Electrical design/engineering background
  • Experience in instrumentation and control systems
  • Competent in commercial business management
  • Competent in the management and delivery of client consultancy projects
