What you'll do
As a software engineer in our Retirement & Income Solutions (Annuities) area, you'll be responsible for Java development supporting existing systems as well as our new modern system that is currently being implemented. In this position, you'll be collaborating and finding innovative technical solutions as part of a scrum team to improve and support our systems.

We're looking for someone with:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree with a preference in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) related field or equivalent work experience (6 years of experience equates to an Associate's degree when defining equivalent work experience)
- 2 years of software engineering experience
- 1 years of java development experience
Additional preferred technical experience:
- Web service development experience
- Experience with the Spring framework
- Experience with Agile practices and Agile tooling (JIRA, Confluence)
- Experience integrating and configuring 3rd party vendor tools
- Cloud experience
- Automation tooling experience
- Experience with DevOps practices (TDD, CI, CD, etc.)
