Trustle Education - Learning Pods for ALL
Trustle's mission is to support parents. In our present moment, that means bringing high-quality, safe, and affordable education to their children. Our goal is to provide parents with the support they need to ensure their children continue to progress in school, despite the challenges they continue to face during a pandemic. Trustle will match small groups of around 5 children with a community educator who will support their daily schoolwork and provide group enrichment activities.
Microschools and learning pods have quickly become the go-to solutions for wealthy families; hiring a teacher to educate your child and a small number of other children. This solution, while effective for those families, is likely to increase inequity in education. Our mission is to provide a safe environment for ALL students to learn and to implement their public school's distance learning curriculum, and to do so regardless of resources.
What you'll do
As a Trustle community educator, you'll provide local families with support in a time of crisis; being a central part of their child's education. You'll lead a 'pod' with a small number of children, and work with them in-person each day in one family's home, implementing the remote learning curriculum assigned by their school.
Trustle will support you in this mission by providing you the training to be successful, the tools to keep everyone safe, and a support team of expert educators when you need them for supervision, curriculum enhancement, and support.
We're looking for dedicated individuals who have some experience working with young children. Whether as a childcare provider, tutor, camp counselor, youth leader, coach, classroom assistant, former teacher etc, your experience with young children has enriched your understanding of how children behave and learn.
