Lead IT Auditor

Exciting opportunity for a Lead IT Auditor to join a dynamic and growing team.

You will provide leadership on projects to 2 to 3 associates, however, you will not have any direct reports or administrative management duties.

This is a hands on role where you will spend approximately 20% of your time on client relationship management, 20% on external auditor management, 30% reviewing level 1 & 2 audit work, 10% doing testing, 10% new work analysis, and 10% assisting with other audit projects.

You will lead and manage the entire audit life cycle. Risk assessment and planning, identify risk and security controls, determine audit objectives and scope, develop project plans, test controls, review audit papers, document results, support integrated audits, partner with other Internal Audit team members to understand how technology is enabling business processes and identify the related risks and controls, evaluate root cause factors for audit testing exceptions and recommend solutions, manage and mentor team members, and do presentations and reports for senior management.

You must be very consultative, flexible, and be able to adapt to change in priorities and projects. You will act as an internal consultant.

This is a direct hire opportunity. We are 100% remote now and not sure when we will return to the office. Once we return to the office, we offer flex hours and up to two days of telecommuting per week with manager approval.

Our office is located in the Broomfield area. We offer 401k match, bonus program, and comprehensive benefits. Currently no travel with this role but could be up to 20% travel (including international) for meetings once we return to the office.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:



  • 6+ years of IT audit experience
  • At least some experience with SOC 1 & SOC 2
  • Experience with a variety of technology platforms
  • Experience with internal control frameworks (ie NIST, PCI DSS, COBIT, FFIEC, SOX, ITIL, and ISO27001)
  • Consultative personality
  • Ability to adapt to change in priorities and direction
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • 4 Year degree

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:



  • Certifications (CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM)
  • Big 4 experience
