IT Administrator - Monitoring - Zurich

Do you like to work and explore multiple, complex IT technologies? Are you a comfortable working with Global teams? Do you have proven ability to solve complex issues, covering both technical and business needs?


Main responsibilities:


* operations Technical Support for various IT related applications with a focus on monitoring tools like Netcool, Moogsoft, AppDynamics, Splunk, BigFix and other automation tools


* managing interface to our L3 support by addressing issues and keeping track of these issues until they are solved


* participation in different projects, eg migrating application onto new Infrastructure, design automations for self-healing


* deploying new Software Releases for the mentioned tools


* create and enhance documentation and training to our clients globally


We are looking for a Monitoring Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role you will be part of a high-performing team of Application Service Operations Experts. You will meet a committed, quality driven and very technical team understanding various tools in the IT area. You will join an international team who operates around the globe. We are completed by a broader team of Operations Support specialists who are focused on L2/L3 support for various other tools supporting the ITIL processes. Beside the supporting capabilities we are developing and supporting various other smaller tools.


Must have:


* very proactive, team player in a global environment


* strong communication skills on a technical and a management level in English


* work experience with Unix systems, basic Scripting knowledge


* elementary understanding of Relational Databases


* prioritise your own workload and work with minimal supervision


* stays calm and keeps focused in hectic situations


Nice to have:


* work experience with Netcool, Moogsoft, AppDynamics, Splunk or BigFix


* worked within Application support for at least 2 years as a L2/L3 support or L3 developer


* hands on experience with RPA tools like IPcenter and Automation Anywhere


* knowledge of JavaScript, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ and MySQL


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field


* ITIL foundation v3 certified
