For our client a well-known Banking company based in Basel, we are looking for a

2nd Level IT Support (ServiceNow) -100%

The 2nd level team is responsible for all client software and hardware including 2nd level software support.

Your Tasks:

  • Providing 2nd level IT support to customers, either remotely or in person. Assisting customers and endeavouring to resolve their issues as effectively as possible, collaborating with other colleagues when required. Where necessary escalating issues to the correct resolver group in the Bank. Taking ownership of customer issues and monitor the progress of the resolution, ensuring timely communication and follow-up of all incidents
  • Staffing the walk-up service counters and providing face-to-face assistance to customers with issues, requests and questions
  • Client hardware installations, staging, configurations, removal of equipment and hardware inventory management
  • Mobile device configuration and support
  • Knowledge Management, including proactive updating of knowledge base articles.
  • Coordination with external Service providers

Your background:

  • A min of 2 years' experience of 2nd level IT support, preferably in an international environment.
  • Strong hardware and software support skills
  • Excellent skills and experience of supporting Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office including Outlook, Microsoft Internet Explorer
  • Knowledge of ITIL/ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of SharePoint is of advantage
  • Knowledge and experience of supporting iOS devices (iPhone, iPads).

Your soft skills:

  • High level of oral and written English language skills. A second major world language would be desirable.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a proactive customer and service orientation and a can-do attitude .
  • Excellent team-player to pursue a long-term relationship with the whole Support team
  • Strong communication to enable clear communication with different audiences.
