Architectural Technician Reference: KOLIV3874HI4IO Location: Liverpool Salary: £(phone number removed) per annum I'm pleased to be supporting one of the UK's leading and most advanced home manufacturing firms who now have an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Technician to join their team. With this role you will get the chance to work along side a dedicated team of RIBA and CIAT Chartered Architectural professionals on a range of imaginative and bespoke housing projects. With this role previous AutoCAD, Revit and BIM knowledge would be essential. The ideal candidate will already have at least 5 years' experience post qualification. Key skills needed to work as an Architectural Technician: Degree of equivalent in an Architectural related subject. You will ideally be chartered or be looking to gain your CIAT chartership. At least 5 years' experience post qualification (desirable). Full understanding of the UK Building regulations and planning policies. Proven AutoCAD and Revit knowledge. Ability to work to a high standard both as a team and independently. An understanding of BIM Standards. Excellent communication skills; technically, verbally and written.Responsibilities whilst working as an Architectural Technician: You will primarily be office based with opportunities to visit sites when required. Responsible for detailed design and fabrication drawings. Liase with the Architectural team and take instruction from the Senior staff members. Ability to work on a varied range of projects.
