Business Intelligence (BI Analyst)

Well established and expanding Insurance organisation seeks BI Analyst to assist BI Manager.

Duties will include:

  • Providing successful development of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and analysis solutions
  • Assisting with the development of a data warehouse to consolidate the business data from all areas of the business
  • Developing scalable and maintainable BI applications to meet business objectives
  • Working with business groups and technical teams to develop BI reporting which meets the needs of the organisation
  • Assisting departmental managers to develop the service level agreements (SLA's) and deployment of key performance measures

Knowledge and Skills required:

  • Proficiency in SQL Scripting
  • Datamodelling, analysis and development skills
  • Knowledge of BI technologies (ideally PowerBI)
  • Background in finance and/or insurance would be a bonus
  • Experience of creating self-servicing reporting dashboards
  • Experience of on-line reporting
  • Exposure to SQL analytical server and cubes

This role could suit either an experienced BI Analyst or a recent graduate with some hands-on experience of BI analysis and reporting
