For our client in Zurich we are looking for a Procurement Project Coordinator for a 3 months contract.

Description:

* Job title: Procurement Project Coordinator reporting to the Head of Direct Procurement

* Contract duration: 3 months, Full time assignment.
. Project location: Glattpark-Opfikon (Zürich)

* Context: Direct Procurement is looking for an external contractor to support the team with COVID-19 activities on either a regional and/or global level (to assist with the with the planning, monitoring and reporting of all ongoing COVID-19 activities).

* Main tasks:

o Establish overall suppliers list per country to be monitoredo Get in contact with the sites to identify supplier contact persons/detailso Contact periodically suppliers to ask for recent status/update
o Update information on internal SharePoints
o Check with supply chain impact in case of delays
o Support Global Category Managers for reporting these data
o Track and report PPE across manufacturing network and BioLife
o Coordinate supplier contacts to inform of inventory adjustments
o Coordinate point/clearing house for all comms from suppliers and establish database of responses/issues
o Facilitate weekly meeting with sites/regions to gather data and status on PPE materials/usage. Can be for the US and EU regions.
o Centralize reporting of all ongoing activities/risks and support communication status to executive management

* Desired soft skills:

o Excellent organizational, project management, communication (written and verbal) and facilitation skills.
o Good analytical skills (effectively supports decisions on factual data and analysis).
o Word processing (Microsoft Word) and data base/spreadsheet (Excel) software and Ariba.
o Business Acumen (concepts and practices and applies them across all situations).
o Ability to work effectively in a Matrix environment.
o Ability to think strategically and globally.
o Experience running project globally and remotely with minimum support staff.
o Able to interface with multiple levels of management, including senior management at both procurement and business unit levels.
o Fluent in English.
o Previous pharma/Direct Procurement experience is a plus.
