FREELANCE/CONTRACTENGLISH SPEAKING ROLE
Mission: proof-read and convert initial bid contents into high quality and persuasive proposals
Principal Job Responsibilities
Proof-read text (proposal content, RFP response) and correct the English language (grammar, vocabulary).
Review content to ensure it answers client requirements using their language.
Bid content is clear and easy to read and to understand for non-experts.
Ensure proposal content is written in a lean and concise manner.
Proposal content highlights client benefits, demonstrating evidence that has the experience in delivering and implementing requested services, sharing customer references.
2/Bid editing/(re) writing
Provide feedback and suggestions to bid writers.
Re-write parts that need to be revisited keeping the original meaning.
Re-write parts that are written in a complex manner or too long in a lean and concise manner.
Close relationship with Engagement Manager and Sales Team.
Bid team writers/SME engaged in writing the bid response/proposal (Sales, Presales, Project Management, Commercial Management, Legal, Sourcing, etc.)
English native/fluent, if not excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
Strong verbal and written communication/language skills.
Knowledge of persuasive and lean writing.
Experience in bidding for large and complex public/government tenders understanding public/government organisations requirements and associated language.
Experience of working in a deadline driven environment.
Flexibility to work evening hours (and possibly weekend) when approaching submission deadline.
IT and Telecommunications industry.
Good command of Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint).
Comfortable in using remote working/collaboration tools (eg Audio conf., Skype, WebEx, SharePoint)
