Cornwall Planning Group are currently looking for new members to expand our friendly team based in our office overlooking Hayle harbour. The position is ideal for someone looking to not only gain but improve practical experience and move forward their career.
We are recruiting applications for the following positions:
• Architectural Technician - Full Time
Applicants will be required to take on responsibilities for production of drawings at all stages of the projects from concept stage through to completion. This includes site surveys, planning drawings, detailed drawings, schedules, specifications, and working closely with other consultants. This exciting role will also include assisting the office manager with on-going training in Building Compliance for producing SAP Calculations/EPC's and Air Pressure Testing Qualifications. The successful applicant will be supported by more experienced members of the team with personal and professional development being encouraged. Free training and further career development will be provided as part of the role.
The successful applicant will have some previous experience working as an architectural technologist or technician, ideally within an architectural practice, contractor or developer environment, keen to move into a role which offers independence, a trusting work environment and team approach. CAD and Revit skills are essential, a knowledge of planning and Building Regulations processes are desirable. A good attitude, ability to manage workloads and willingness to work within a small team environment being crucial to this role.
The start date will be defined in response to negotiation with individual candidates.
