Job Description
The Global Drug Development Internal Communications team is searching for a passionate and creative communications professional to join our team. You will have a key part to play in helping us communicate to the approximately 11,000 associates across the world. If you're excited about creating powerful content and maximizing its impact across multiple contents for a large audience, this is a role that you'll enjoy.

Responsibilities

  • Support the operations of the overall GDD newsflow, working with team members to prepare, proof, and implement newsflow communications such as Intranet posts, weekly newsletters, divisional mass mails and posts on Yammer
  • Work closely with the team and with senior executives to identify and write stories that tell our key achievements, in line with our values and behaviors, across our channels
  • Act as community manager for Yammer, including; carrying out training, working with stakeholders to develop engagement, and fostering a positive community
  • Manage the uploading of news and new content onto our Intranet, in addition to supporting the transition from our old Intranet to a new one
  • Plan and execute videos, including preparing video scripts, videoing (with iPhone) or working with stakeholders, agencies and film crew
  • Manage our communications measurement, using analytics to prepare regular reports to assess the effectiveness of our channels and content
  • Support the management and implementation of internal and external communications projects and materials as required

Minimum requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in communications, preferably in healthcare
  • Native/fluent English speaker
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities; project and/or event management experience beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Pro-active and self-motivated team member, comfortable dealing with senior executives
  • Strong writer, with keen news sense
  • Experience (or strong interest) in communications planning and working with digital tools
  • Experience (or strong interest) in using analytics to measure the success of communications, and presenting this in a digestible way
  • Experience shooting/managing videos and/or creating multimedia content is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of healthcare is an advantage
