Salesforce SME/2nd Line Support - Outside of IR35 - 1 month contract

Arnold Ash are working with a leading Professional Services business in their search for a Salesforce SME to join them on an interim basis. The role will be joining an on-going Salesforce implementation programme which is at its latter stages.

You will be required to assist the Product Manager, the Technical Salesforce Lead and the Test Manager with build UAT, technical readiness and post-implementation support activities. Critically this is a stakeholder/customer-facing role, and you must be able to communicate well with customers and stakeholders of varying technical abilities. You will require an ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical reality.

Essential experience required from the Salesforce SME:

  • Experience translating business requirements into Salesforce functional and technical
  • Experience of providing first or second-line support in an IT department
  • Experience of configuring applications to business users' needs
  • Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence experience
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in order to relate technical issues and solutions to non-technical people in a clear and informed manner
  • Stakeholder management: managing multiple and conflicting customer demands
  • Able to work under pressure whilst displaying a positive attitude throughout
  • Ability to work and interact with business users and other members of a geographically distributed team

Responsibilities of the Salesforce SME

  • Work collaboratively with team members to design, develop and configure a salesforce solution that will meet requirements for the new strategic model
  • Salesforce Configuration skills such as creating objects, custom fields, workflows, triggers and flows, security setup and configuration changes to communities
  • Configuring to meet user requirements or design specification
  • Handling all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, data maintenance, security setup, validations, formula fields, assignment rules, sharing rules, record types, list views, reports and dashboards. Ability to work with workflows, triggers and flows will be an advantage.
  • Create test scripts and perform QA, System Integration and UAT testing for applications and systems and regression testing
  • Assist with the analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation across customers' functional areas of business
  • Manage assigned cases, post implementation support and solve user and system issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain consistent technical documentation to match customer requirements and ensure best practice
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers
  • Lead, drive and ensure clear communication among all stakeholders, including the customer and internal team
