Client Manager - Solar Asset Management, London, salary to 50,000 + bonus and benefits

This is an exciting role in a high-growth, leading renewable energy asset management firm with extensive UK and international interests.

You'll take responsibility for managing client relationships with key clients - typically banks & institutional investors who own solar energy assets.

The role is quite broad covering coordination and supervision of teams delivering services to clients including:

* Translate global strategic priorities for the company into specific priorities for their big client
* Work to understand the needs and desires of clients, and interfacing with the delivery teams to meet (and where possible exceed) client expectations
* Manage client expectations/trust in line with the company's terms and agreements
* Coordinate key projects to include company launch plans in new countries
* Coordinate and supervise the specialist teams in terms of the following activities for each solar asset that we manage:

• Preparation of budgets, periodic variance analysis and cash management
• Preparation of periodic reports
• Monitoring and analysis of performance
• Identification of performance improvements to maximise plant performance, and minimise opex and risks, and thus maximise IRR

Essential requirements

Knowledge and experience of the solar energy sector would be highly advantageous, and if your experience has been client facing, that's even better.

* Commercially astute and financially literate - should be able to provide basic revenue/ costs analysis work
* Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
* Superb stakeholder management abilities and passion to drive excellent client service
* Diplomatic and engaging personality - the ability to build and maintain positive relationships on the client side, but also the ability to push back where needed
* Strong results orientation & problem-solving skills
* Ability to think strategically and prioritise in a fast paced, often ambiguous environment
* Good degree in any discipline but finance or business management would be ideal
* Globally oriented mindset and a natural spirit of optimism
* Outstanding MS Office skills, in particular PowerPoint and Excel (both of which should be advanced)

Remuneration

Base salary (negotiable based on experience and value) up to 50,000 per annum + bonus and benefits
