Linux/Unix System Engineer (Python, Ruby, Perl)

Key competences:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering
  • Proven Design skills in Team
  • Delivery of Automation Solutions consumed by multiple Teams
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux/Unix
  • Knowledge of Internet Protocols
  • Strong Scripting skills in multiple common languages (eg Python, Perl, Bash)
  • Experience in deploying and supporting Security application in a 24x7 production environment
  • Excellent communication, documentation, work prioritization and analytical skills.
  • Experience with at least one Cloud Technologies (OpenStack, VMWare, KVM)
  • Familiar with CI/CD concepts
  • Familiar with Automation Testing
  • Familiar with packages repository setup (.deb, .rpm)

Technology skills:

  • GIT
  • Strong kills with at least one programming language such as Python, Ruby, Perl
  • Linux
  • Jenkins, Gitlab, Gerrit
  • Firewall (iptables)
  • Automation with Ansible and/or Puppet
