For our client in Basel we are searching for Executive Social Media Operations and Analytics Lead for 1 year project

Job Title: Executive Social Media Operations and Analytics Lead

Location: Basel

Duration: 16/03/2020 - 01/04/2021

Purpose:
The Executive Social Media Operations and Analytics Lead manages operations for executive social media channels, including ensuring well-structured planning, development and publishing of social media content to agreed timelines and standards; overseeing social media channel governance and community management; and delivering data, analytics and performance metrics for social media activities. They are responsible for ensuring a highly safe, effective and quality standard is achieved in social media activities on LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram channels in line with latest social media best practice, including paid practices. This role will work to deliver engaging social media campaigns in collaboration with multiple teams and partners.

This role is part of a cross-functional executive communications team, reporting to the Director, Executive Communications, Global External Communications.

Major Accountabilities:
This is a hand-on operations role that will lead the following day-to-day as part of a cross-functional team.

Social Media Channels Operations Management

  • Defines and leads execution of a strategic "standard" operating model for designated executive social media channels
  • Responsible for tracking social media campaign planning, maintaining an editorial calendar and ensuring publishing of social media content within deadlines
  • Responsible for ensuring content reviews, optimization (including video and images), quality control, and publishing to the highest and latest channel standards
  • Manages and maintains social media tools, governance and databases; including continuous improvement of social media tools for listening, analytics, publishing and engagement
  • Runs operational meetings, setting agenda, capturing actions and driving follow-up as needed
  • Supports social media strategy planning, campaign and content development in collaboration with the team as required

Community Management:

  • Defines and applies a best-in-class approach to engagement and community management on social media channels in line with strategy, including issues management and influencer engagement
  • Provides daily monitoring of social media channels; including monitoring of comments and other community management, engagement and growth opportunities

Analytics & Performance Measurement

  • Works in collaboration to set a framework of smart KPIs and performance measures for social media channels to support delivery of strategy and continuous improvement
  • Manages day-to-day, monthly, quarterly and yearly data-pulls, analytics and performance analysis as needed

Requirements:
Education:

  • University degree in a relevant field

Languages:

  • English, other languages a plus

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years working experience in communications, project management or operations, or relevant field. Social media experience highly desirable
  • Strong social media and digital skills (eg community management, social media posting knowledge of best social media practice)
  • Strong data and analytics skills
  • Strong project management skills and excellent execution/attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities; project and/or event management experience beneficial
  • Experience in managing agencies or external vendors/service providers
  • Proven track record of collaborating and effective stakeholder management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Good understanding of executive communications, healthcare, medical device and pharma industry beneficial
