IT Support Engineer for an IT Support Company based in Warwick, salary £23,000 – £25,000 per annum dependent on experience, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. The Company: The Company was founded in 2003 and is now an established IT Company with offices in Warwickshire, Berkshire and Cambridgeshire, offering computer support, solutions and services to many small and medium-sized companies that do not have IT staff, or who require additional resources on a short, or long term basis. We are now recruiting an IT Support Engineer to join our expanding business to join our customer focused support team, providing telephone, remote IT support and onsite support. The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for identifying and supporting our customer, remotely or onsite, identifying issues, performing diagnostic checks and putting in place a resolution. This role is 40% service desk based and 60% client site visits to work on projects and provide onsite support. This is a full-time, permanent role. 37.5 hours per week, 9.00am until 5.30pm with an hour for lunch. IT Support Engineer Main Duties: Providing an escalation route within the 1st line functions within the business. Resolving a full range of technical support issues. Effectively communicating with customers and within the Company. Providing proactive monitoring and management of services to all customers. Self-educating and attaining industry standard, vendor and other recognised technical certifications to be able to fully deliver in the role. Working autonomously and be trusted to provide professional support services to all customers Liaising with customers to analyse, review, identify and develop relationships that meet/exceed customer needs. Contributing to highest levels of customer care, in line with our company values. Ensuring that all Company processes, procedures and standards are adhered to at all times. Delivering on KPIs (and be able demonstrate previous achievements during interview). IT Support Engineer Necessary Skills, Qualifications and Experience: 3 years IT support experience is essential. Full UK driving licence is essential. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative. Excellent understanding of SharePoint and the 365 environment, setup, configuration and trouble shooting. Experience in configuring networking equipment, routers, switches, firewalls etc. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, multitasking between simultaneous projects and meeting strict deadlines.
