HR Manager Full time or Part time considered (min 30 hours/week) South Leicester, Leicestershire Up to £35,000 depending on experience + Company Benefits This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced generalist HR Manager to join our well established and highly successful manufacturing client based in South Leicester, Leicestershire. With a headcount of 95 employees ranging from factory staff to Senior Managers key duties in this stand-alone HR Manager role will include: * Day to day management & administration of HR function; * Support and advise Line Managers on employee relations issues, employment law, people & performance management, best practice, internal policies and procedures; * Absence management; * Sit in on disciplinary and grievance meetings undertaking note taking as required; * End to end recruitment; * Update and maintain personnel files on Sage; * GDPR compliance; * Work in conjunction with accounts to verify payroll data; * Prepare and submit monthly reports to Senior Leadership team, analysing trends in data; * Assess business processes and procedures to result in business efficiencies; * Project work, eg. Introduction of new HR database. Experience, skills & attributes required from the HR Manager will include: * Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a stand-alone generalist HR Manager; * CIPD Level 5 or equivalent; * Experienced in working with Line Managers to provide advice, guidance, support and coaching on a wide range of generalist HR issues; * Experienced in absence and attendance management; * Experience of creating, implementing & improving systems/processes to result in business efficiencies; * Effective communicator building strong working relationships across all levels of a business; * Commercial acumen to decision making, ability to assess & manage risk; * Ability to maintain confidentiality; * Self-sufficient and adaptable with the ability to manage own workload and priorities; * Open and encouraging working style with the experience of creating an approachable and supportive HR function; * Driving licence. Hours: Full time hours are 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. There is flexibility with start/finish times. Minimum hours are 30 hours per week (over 4/5 days). Salary in turn pro-rata’d.
