Our client, a global award winning managed service provider, based in Leatherhead are looking for a 3rd Line Support Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has come from an MSP environment. Due to the nature of the business, you will be exposed to the latest technologies. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain rapport with clients by displaying a detailed understanding of their IT environment and business issues. Establish and maintain high levels of incident ownership through incident lifecycle to a satisfactory conclusion Analyse the nature of queries and customer problems and provide suitable solutions within SLA timescales Understand and operate the escalations procedures Meet personal and team productivity and quality targets in line with Support Services Department Mentoring of Junior Staff Be a Team Player Have attention to Detail Come with and maintain a passion for learning Communicate with customers from problem identification through problem resolution regarding technical support. Responding to the ticket queue in an expedient manner, providing clear and informative status entries, resolution entries and quality assurance closure. Will work to identify the root cause of any customer escalations and strive to incorporate solutions that are correct, with zero rework. Setting up performance monitors and evaluating logs to determine performance problems or recommending steps to remedy a situation Perform changes to customer systems while following strict guidelines for compliance Be on an on-call rotation with the rest of the team as applicable Adherence to the company Quality, Data Protection and Information Security Standards Skills and experience: Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Windows server OS Installation, configuration and troubleshooting O365 Good understanding of, and experience supporting, Office 365/ Azure hybrid configurations Configuration and troubleshooting of Intune policies, MDM etc Configuration and troubleshooting of Skype for Business / Microsoft Teams Any Microsoft MCP or MCSA/MCSE, Cisco CCNA or IT related qualifications will be a advantage Worked with Exchange 2013 and 2016 and above SQL Server and SharePoint would be advantageous Good understanding of Hypervisors (Hyper-v, ESXi) Configuration and support of IPT endpoints- (Polycom, Yealink etc) Significant industry knowledge and experience Experience in a support environment, working to SLAs, and using 'trouble-ticket' applications This role is looking to pay a salary of up to £45K dependant on experience and offers a generous benefits package.
