About the role
Our IT team is seen as a critical function within Anchor Hanover, we are providing an opportunity to get involved in the transformation of our newly formed organisation. Anchor Hanover is embarking on its Digital Business strategy - our roles allow individuals to get involved in both the technology and cultural change that will need to be achieved to deliver this strategy.
Our Systems Analysts work very closely with business colleagues and will be expected to gain a good understanding of the business area. This role will be in our Property team that is dedicated to supporting that area of the business within Anchor Hanover that has responsibility for managing over 60,000 properties and a long-term budget that exceeds £1billion.
You will be working on the applications that support property (Northgate Housing System and Promaster Asset Management System) with the successful candidate providing support and development services that enable the business to meet its strategic aims of high quality and cost-effective services.
You will be involved in understanding business requirements, configuring systems (Northgate & Promaster) to meet these requirements, all stages of system testing as well as implementation and subsequent support. Implementation will include data preparation, building user capability and go-live support and hand holding.
The role has a couple of more technical responsibilities. This will require a SQL capability, with candidate with a depth of experience being ideal and similarly experience with developing reports within Business O
You will be working with colleagues within IT and across the wider business areas alongside 3 rd party system providers and will report through to the Team Leader for Property Systems (we call it our Property DevOps Team Leader).
We are looking for experience in using large Housing/Property systems (ideally Northgate and Promaster) and to have a proven track record in a similar role.
