Business Analyst required on a temp to perm contract by a market leading service based business in the Staffordshire region. As a leader in its sector, my client is growing every day! With this growth comes the need to bring in the best talent to join a very talented team. As a Business Analyst you will be initially based at the main site in Staffordshire but occasionally must be willing to travel across the UK to various sites. The Business Analyst will be helping to manage change and plan for the future in line with the businesses goals and priorities. The Business Analyst will need to build an understanding of the organisations situation, identify future needs and create solutions to help meet those needs, usually in relation to information and software systems. The Business Analyst will be working on a variety of both technical IT and process improvement projects and will be used to managing the end to end project life cycle from understanding and gathering user requirements, formal documentation through to implementation, presenting to stakeholders of all levels and all areas of the business. The Business Analysts Key Responsibilities will include: * Communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of departments * Work with external stakeholders to understand and investigate feedback into the service/function/product * Use data modelling practices to analyse your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes * Identify the processes and IT required to introduce your recommendations * work within governance guidelines to gain approval of your recommendations and implementation plan * Communicate the benefits and gain buy in of your recommendations across departments and address any uncertainty and concerns * Produce written documentation to support your work, report your findings and present to stakeholders when necessary * Support the staff and teams in making changes The successful Business Analyst will: * Possess excellent communications skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences * Have the ability to motivate others and lead change * Have the ability to work under pressure on multiple projects with strict timescales * Have a passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change * Possess excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach * Have experience of Process Mapping and process improvements * Have a good understanding of information technology * Be proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Visio etc.) In return the Business Analyst will receive a competitive salary, car allowance, 30 days annual leave + bank holidays and your birthday off, life assurance, pension contribution, and join my clients reward scheme.
