Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Experian Marketing Services, work
collaboratively with other team members and Sales to consistently and
flawlessly plan, execute EMS tradeshows and events to support business unit
objectives, then analyze and measure results. Includes both Experian-hosted and
industry events.

Job_Duties_And_Responsibilities
* Follow Tradeshow & Event Planning Playbook for consistent planning,
execution and measurement of EMS events. Make recommendations to adjust
and refine playbook as needed.
* Advance, strategic planning of events in collaboration with Marketing
team members, Sales leaders and industry show organizers
* Collaborate with PR team to scope out speaking opportunities and submit
abstracts by deadline
* Work directly with various levels of EMS and Experian Corporate
management, outside vendors, hotel management and Experian clients
* Coordinate with other members of Marketing team to promote event presence
via social media, email campaign or other channels
* Proactively collaborate with Tradeshow and Event leads in other business
units to cross-leverage resources and budget and execute a cohesive
presence
* Coordinate internal and external pre and post event communications
* For events where we have on-site presence, complete Show Overview
document to capture all key event info and distribute to internal
attendees ahead of event
* Develop event collateral and promotional materials, leveraging internal
or external resources as needed
* Provide on-site support as needed, including set up, pre-show huddle and
tear down
* Follow Corporate payment guidelines, work with the EMS Head of Marketing
to reconcile event spend against budget, and submit expense reports
accurately and timely
* Capture post event call feedback and photos for team files and future
planning
* Upload leads and assign to Sales for follow up and ROI tracking
* Make recommendations for future improvement for overall process and
individual events
* Maintain event calendars and events list on website
* Proactively research industry events and provide recommendations for
attend only or paid presence
* Contribute creative event ideas and solutions to help achieve business
unit objectives
* Coordinate and host monthly tradeshow event calls with Sales and other
departments to inform and update on event statuses
* Support annual planning, including hosting calls with Sales leaders to
review draft of tradeshow calendar
Qualifications
* Experience with event contracts and negotiating with event organizers and
hotel properties
* Ability to travel up to 20%, which may include evenings and weekends
* Must be flexible and open to accepting other event-related tasks as
assigned
* Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage
multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
* Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
* Minimum 5-7 years minimum event planning and execution experience,
preferably in a corporate environment
* Certification in meeting/event planning
* Education: BA in marketing, communications, advertising, business
management or journalism
* Technical requirements:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Experience with Salesforce and Eloqua strongly preferred
