Tenneco Inc. has recently acquired Federal-Mogul. The strategic combination of Tenneco's Ride Performance business with Federal-Mogul's Motorparts business will establish a global aftermarket leader with an impressive portfolio of some of the strongest brands in the aftermarket including Monroe, Walker, Wagner, Champion, Fel-Pro and MOOG. The company's broader aftermarket product coverage, stronger distribution channels, and enhanced channel development will strengthen its position in established and high growth markets (China and India), and drive success through new mobility models and capturing evolving e-commerce opportunities.
We are looking for a Sr. Benefits Analyst, Retirement who will be Responsible for retirement plan administration including defined benefit, defined contribution, and supplemental retirement plans. Accountable for plan administration, reporting, communication, compliance and preparing procedure documents. Partners with the benefit vendors, outside counsel and HR to resolve benefit plan requests or participant issues.

* Manage the retirement plan administration for the defined benefit, defined contribution, and supplemental retirement plans.
* Manage retirement plan vendors to ensure plans meet administrative guidelines and are in compliance with state and federal law. Lead weekly administration calls with vendors. Responsible for troubleshooting complex benefit plan matters.
* Analyze and prepare funding for defined contribution plan each pay period and provide funding for the defined benefit plan and monthly annuity payments.
* Audit retirement plan eligibility and participant data such as employee and employer 401(k) contributions; resolve discrepancies within payroll and record-keeper.
* Manage weekly and monthly invoice processing for all benefit plans including retirement and health and welfare plans.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders HR team, auditors, finance, accounting, payroll, legal, and senior management on various retirement initiatives i.e. audits, filings, plan valuations etc.
* Audit retirement plan eligibility and participant data such as employee and employer 401(k) contributions; resolve discrepancies within payroll and record-keeper.
* Prepare and submit the annual IRS, EDGAR, DOL i.e. 11K and 5500 filings.
* Execute annual compliance notices e.g., Annual Funding Notice, Summary Annual Report, etc.
* Lead and implement process improvements as it relates to retirement plan administration.
* Lead employee retirement communication.
* Lead and support total rewards special projects as needed.
* Support union and labor negotiation to ensure benefit changes are implemented.
* Support with day-to-day operational issues, field employee benefits questions from HR through benefits department mailbox and assist with appeals.
Required Experience

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree Required
* 5+ years progressive benefits experience.
* 3+ years of experience using various HRIS. SAP is a plus.
* Knowledge in retirement plan design, administration and compliance requirements.
* Ability to understand provisions of applicable laws, ordinances, policies, rules, regulations, and memoranda of understanding.
* Well versed in pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements (i.e., ERISA, IRS, 5500,409A, Social Security, DOL).
* Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
