Acquisitions Program Analyst

Acquisitions Program Analyst responsible for supporting DoD customer in developing program or administrative financial reporting; developing and recommending guidance on program financial planning and risk management; assisting the PM in evaluating the workload/cost impact against the program budget. Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met. This position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to understand the Program and track Program events and activities at a broad level.
Location: Abergeen Proving Ground, MD or Fort Belvoir, VA
Security: Active Secret Required
Requirements/Skills: Successful candidates will possess skills in the following areas:
-Army Program Management Office (PMO) experience
-Understanding of the DoD Acquisition Process
-Familiar with the Army Systems Acquisition Review Council (ASARC) process
-Familiar with the Defense Acquisition Board (DAB) process
-Ability to analyze financial data and determine variance-Preparation of internal and external customer-required financial
-Collects and completes, organizes and interprets technical data and financial information for communication systems and networks
-Must have an understanding of revenue reconciliation and cost
-Experience with Army Budget planning process and tools such as GFEBS
-Experienced in preparing obligation plans and spend plans
-Experienced preparing Smart Charts for DoD Programs
-Must have knowledge of multiple contract types (T&M, FP, Cost Plus)
-Understanding of the importance of data accuracy and integrity-Review, reconcile, and analyze Accounts Receivables against the customer payment system
-May include supervisory responsibility or mentoring
-Microsoft Office 2007
-Program Control, budget & forecasting
-Security Requirements: Secret Clearance required

-Must be willing and capable of working with teams of Government and Contractors across multiple companies
-Must be able to multitask; the successful candidate will be effective on simultaneous projects at various stages of completion
-Bachelor of Science degree in related field and 5 years of experience
