RSA are looking for an experienced Service Relationship Manager to join the Unity Programme in Horsham, West Sussex. This role involves managing the lifecycle (i.e. design, transition, operation, improvement and, potentially, decommission) of an IT service or a range of IT services. You will work closely with business representatives to ensure that service delivery meets business requirements within agreed levels and limits. You will work with IT Supplier Relationship Manager colleagues and internal and external suppliers to define and agree IT solutions and ensure delivery is achieving agreed specifications. You will play a key role in embedding IT Service Management best practice across the IT organisation. Depth and breadth of IT service management experience and strong leadership skills are essential to succeed in this role. Responsibilities will include: Leading the operation and improvement of allocated services, anticipating issues and risks, and responding to escalated problems, to ensure they are delivered to agreed specifications, levels and limits Overseeing the delivery and integration of the IT solutions that underpin the IT services, working with IT Service Management colleagues and senior internal or external supplier representatives to review and address performance issues Leading the application of service management best practice to embed IT service excellence across the IT organisation Influencing the service management team to ensure that resources (people, technological, etc.) and processes are appropriate to the required standards of operation, cost-efficiency, best practice and performance Motivating and developing the external supplier service team to ensure delivery of the required standards of excellence in service and performance and support the continuing personal and professional development of all team members Deputising for the Service Relationship Owner as requiredWhat we are looking for from you: ITIL® Foundation qualification or higher Managed service design, transition and/or operations processes for a broad range of IT services Experience of managing or working in large outsource arrangements Management of offshore service providersThis role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract If you feel you can hit the ground running please apply now
