Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo's more than 70 million global customers.
Acts as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications. Provides coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code. Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.
Leads Capacity Planning and Management activities for Platform Management team. Individual will be responsible for developing strategy through which server capacity will be baselined for various applications - as well as documenting both processes and implementing tools to help us ascertain future projects' impact to server CPU/Memory utilization and storage. Partners closely with infrastructure and application teams to continually assess server capacity needs based on historical consumptions and trends. experience of capacity management methodologies, a deep background in distributed technologies like Windows, UNIX, VMware, Linux and AIX as well as knowledge of other platform technologies (Operating Systems, Storage, Memory, Network, Firewall, Gateways, Shared and Dedicated infrastructure, etc.) Should have advanced level expertise with infrastructure management processes, developing long term Distributed Platform Capacity Management and Planning strategy, develop functional requirements with regard to capacity management, creating business system profiles, and setting key performance indicators. Must have experience with server monitoring and/or analysis software tools (HP OVPM, AppDynamics, Splunk, etc.). Experience working with offshore team is highly desired.

- 3+ years of SQL experience
- 2+ years of performance tuning experience
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- 5+ years of reporting experience
- Ability to deliver concise, time critical information to all levels of management, technology and business teams
- Knowledge and understanding of application and distributed system technology projects
- 2+ years of Splunk experience
- Knowledge and understanding of AppDynamics
- 1+ year of SharePoint and Wikis experience
- 1+ year of Tableau experience
