Working With Us Working with our client, as a SAP MM Consultant we will give you on the job training so don’t worry if you are not a SAP expert yet. As a SAP MM Consultant you will be joining a small and supportive team of 7 who work hard, but find plenty of time for fun and team socials. Within this team you will be working across Materials Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Student Life Cycle Management as well as some liaison with Sales and Distribution and Project Systems. Although a full detailed Job Description can be obtained by clicking apply and following the next steps, Key Duties for the SAP MM Consultant role will be:- Provide post-implementation support for MM and associated interfaces and reports 2nd line support for cross-functional incidents and service requests Liaising with business representatives, Centre of Excellence colleagues and stakeholders Hands-on configuration and customisation, root cause analysis, and development of functional specifications and test strategies Supporting with on-going implementations of SAP at Cambridge Assessment through direct involvement as a project team member THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the SAP MM Consultant post will need to already have substantial hands on SAP configuration and customisation experience. Ideally this would be in Materials Management. Maybe you gained this in a project or a support background (or perhaps a combination of both) and you will already understand or have experience of how MM integrates with other modules and wider SAP features, and also have familiarity with interfaces to non – SAP systems. Candidates with formal qualifications as well as ones qualified by experience will be considered, and all candidates will need to have strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent influencing skills, and and hold the ability to operate within complex projects and diverse teams. Candidates will need to be able to commute to the company HQ in Cambridge (10 minutes from Cambridge Station) in the Triangle. Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the SAP MM Consultant role in Cambridge :- Hands on SAP configuration experience, preferably in Materials Management Have a support and project background – ideally a minimum of two life-cycle implementations Detailed knowledge of internal support processes (ITIL or similar) Integration with non-SAP systems A track record of delivering business change and process improvement initiatives through SAP Familiar with ASAP Methodology and passionate about driving SAP Standard Solution Experience of producing business cases and proposals Does this sound like you?
