Where does this role fit in? As a Solutions Architect, you'll be a senior member of the Development team providing architectural guidance to the project team on any data architecture and software development needs. You'll be ensuring the compliance of a multiple of solutions and related project artefacts to internationally regulated standards and preparing all Solutions Architecture and Design documents. The main responsibilities of this position are to ensure any analysis and design delivers the required functionality of the original work request. Responsibilities will include; Understanding work requirements and question the relevant parties if these are not clear. Providing a detailed technical solution for all work items. Communicating solutions to different audience levels; client, account team, developer, tester. Providing resource breakdowns for BI and QA resource required to complete the task. Fully documenting work to the required company-defined standards. Understanding of GDPR and ensure that this is considered in all relevant work. Ensuring that all work is recorded in a company defined source control repository. Ensuring all code complies with the company's defined coding standards. Investigating new technologies.Possessing the ability and willingness to exercise this range of skills to a high level, providing leadership and support across the wider project context. You will identify existing business risks related to the implementation of software design and ensure that such risks are mitigated. In addition, the Solution Architect (is responsible for technical excellence for their client(s)). Technical Excellence Responsibilities can be achieved by; Being the Technical Owner for the client's solutions. Attending client meetings when required. Ensuring that any developer working within the client domain adheres to company defined documentation and coding standards by enforcing those standards. Carrying out adequate peer reviews of developed code to ensure the company defined standards are met and document any design changes that come up during the deployment phase .Solutions Architect | TOGAF Certification | GCP | BI | Data Architecture | GDPR | Communication | SQL | Visio | Google Cloud | Azure | AWS | Coding | Compliance Essential Skills Am I the right person for the job? Experience in a Solution Architect role previously will be extremely beneficial, in order to be able to service our clients from day 1. This experience will have seen you working across the full SDLC. You possess excellent technical and business vocabulary, providing technical assurance in client facing engagements and being able to deliver technical content to non-technical audiences. Great Project Management skills, preferably having worked in Agile/Waterfall environments. Excellent levels of communication, being able to liaise with internal and external project managers, IT professionals, colleagues, and clients. SQL and Visio experience are essential alongside strong knowledge of Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS.So, what are you waiting for?
