The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is the national
association for regulatory agencies for nursing. NCSBN assists and supports
boards of nursing to act together on matters of common interest and concern
affecting public health, safety, and regulation. This includes the development
of national nurse licensing examinations. Currently we are seeking a Customer
Service Coordinator I, for our Business Operations & Customer Service

Position serves as the primary customer service representative and provides
general business support to meet organizational and operational
objectives. Provides accurate, prompt, and professional service by using
appropriate resources, acts as a liaison between customers and organization,
and responds to inquiries via phone, email, and social media. Coordinates
detailed communication with customer while maintaining high level of service.
Transmits information to relevant and appropriate parties, and maintains
records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and
complaints. Supports operational integrity of NCSBN products through case
review and incident resolution. Supports the logistical needs of the department
by providing assistance with meetings, business administration services and the
Project Management Office (PMO). Maintains the NCSBN visitor registry and
enters visitor information into the building security registration
portal. Communicates with building security and NCSBN staff as it relates to
onsite visitors. Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor s degree in Liberal Arts & Science, Business, Communications, or
related field with two years previous customer service and product support
experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience is
required. Excellent oral and written communication, telephone etiquette,
presentation, technical, customer service, problem solving, analytical and
critical thinking skills are essential. Ability to work independently to
resolve client issues and collectively in a fast-paced environment to establish
a positive working rapport with all stakeholders. Ability to work on multiple
assignments in a team environment. Attention to detail, multi-tasking, process
mapping, and flexibility in activities is imperative. Technical expertise must
include MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with using multiple
databases is required.
