An exciting opportunity has arisen to teach on our very successful A Level Graphics team. The College is seeking a qualified, committed and highly motivated individual to deliver AS/A Level Graphics and Level 3 Advanced Welsh Baccalaureate.

The successful candidate will possess a commitment to deliver high quality education and the ability to employ a variety of teaching and learning strategies, including the effective use of ILT, to ensure excellence and the achievement of course targets for retention and attainment.

You will be required to be creative, flexible and confident and have a good appreciation of the A WJEC Graphics A Level specification. As a personal tutor in this area, you will support A level learners through their tutorial, providing pastoral care, support and advice. In addition to this you will lead on the delivery of the skills challenge certificates (part of the WBQ) to your tutor groups and will proactively embed Art related skills into these challenges.

You will have a professional background/degree in the field of Graphics (or other related discipline) and will be passionate about developing the broad skills set of A level learners, for example in relation to employability, research skills and community participation. You will possess/or be prepared to work towards a recognised teaching qualification and be able to adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of a variety of different abilities.
