Belmont Recruitment are currently working alongside a Local Authority in Bradford area of West Yorkshire, to recruit an experienced Senior Business Development Officer to join the Employment & Skills Service Group. This is initially a 3 month temporary contract, however does have the possibility to be extended. As a Senior Business Development Officer, you will be providing comprehensive business development activity across ass SFW provision, including marketing and promoting to employers, local authority recruiting managers, schools, parents and unemployed adults. Your main responsibilities will include: * Developing, implementing and monitoring initiatives by networking, creating and developing partnerships between employers, schools and DWP. * Attending job fairs, recruitment events, school careers events, community centres, managers forums and headteacher networks * Analysing and producing statistical information relating to performance, quality, and compliance, ensuring that these are submitted within weekly / monthly deadlines for claim and audit purposes * Informing and advising employers in using the digital Apprenticeship Service * Developing and creating job descriptions for apprenticeship vacancies, I conjunction with the employer, and upload as required to necessary recruitment systems * Liaising with employers to ensure that they get the suitable candidate for the role * Delivering corporate projects, tasks and requests, often with demanding deadlines The ideal candidate for this position will have experience of working within a Local Authority, or a large organisation, dealing with adult employment issues. Having experience of apprenticeship funding and recruitment would also be a benefit. Please apply as soon as possible if this position would be of interest
