With a primary focus on our seven operational wind farms in Scotland, the main purpose of this position is to:

•Monitor and analyse turbine and fleet performance using SCADA information, to measure turbine availability and deliver enhanced performance through analytics;

•To be involved in and oversee the monthly reporting of wind farm performance; calculating turbine availability, assessing yield against P50 target, considering key risks impacting continuing operation of the assets and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of each turbine OEM;

•To produce and distribute plant availability report to off-takers for each wind farm (as necessary);

•To liaise with the turbine OEMs on a weekly basis to discuss and approve planned works across each site and be involved in monthly meetings with the OEMs; presenting KPI measures and contract availability;

•To oversee the calculation of contractual availability on a monthly basis; liaising with the finance team to agree the final position and signing off with OEM;

•To perform site calibration tests, Power Curve analysis and any other technical analysis on the turbines; using analytics to interrogate SCADA data to establish trends and recurring errors to drive performance by eliminating downtime and enhancing yield by technical improvements;

•To liaise with software providers to develop and deploy data analysis to further enhance the efficient reporting and measuring of technical issues to provide corrective and pro-active actions to drive performance of the fleet;
