Within Payments Operations, you would be working in a busy, fast-paced environment where meeting deadlines and attention to detail is crucial to the overall customer experience.

The Role:

Providing an excellent customer service, putting the customer at the heart of all you do

Delivering a right first time' service

Ensuring incoming and outgoing payments are processed, checked and verified accurately and efficiently

Identifying opportunities and developing proposals for improvements to systems, productivity and processes

Liaising with external bodies, including other financial institutions

Providing internal and external customers with a high-quality service

Providing problem investigations and query resolution for internal and external customers across a range of complex payments systems where in-depth understanding of the system is required

Working at all times in the interest of the team, sharing knowledge and assisting colleagues as appropriate or other teams as specified by line management

Assist in the reconciliation of a number of impersonal accounts with good attention to detail

We need you to have

Excellent communication and listening skills; ability to listen, understand and respond professionally

We would like you to have

Polite telephone manner

Analytical approach

Relevant banking experience

Knowledge of the services and systems across Payments Operations

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
